Exxon Mobil, Boeing share losses contribute to Dow's 75-point fall - MarketWatch

Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Exxon Mobil and Boeing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Friday afternoon. Shares of Exxon Mobil XOM, -1.85% and Boeing BA, -1.51% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge's intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.13% was most recently trading 76 points (0.3%) lower. Exxon Mobil's shares are down $0.83, or 1.9%, while those of Boeing have declined $2.96, or 1.7%, combining for an approximately 26-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include JPMorgan Chase JPM, -1.38%, Chevron CVX, -1.52%, and Travelers TRV, -1.17%. A $1 move in any of the Dow's 30 components equates to a 6.86-point swing.
