米自動車販売、コロナ禍の低迷脱却の方向－９月の小売りは前年比増か - ブルームバーグ

自動車メーカーは今春陥った落ち込みから脱しつつある。低金利に加えコロナ禍で自家用車の利用が広がっていることを背景に米自動車販売は７－９月（第３四半期）に力強く回復する見込みだ。

　　調査会社ＪＤパワーによると、９月の米自動車販売は季節調整済み年率換算で1570万台に達した可能性が高い。レンタカー会社などフリート（大口顧客）向けが含まれない小売り販売は９月に前年同月比で増加する見込みで、そうなれば暦上の販売日数が数日多かった２月以来となる。

　　工場で生産が停止し、全米で消費者が外出自粛を余儀なくされた４月には、数十年ぶりの水準となる860万台に沈んでいた。
