One Bay Stater is $1 million richer after winning a lottery prize from a Mobil gas station on Monday, Nov. 14.
The winning $1 million ticket was sold in Adams, and was won playing the “$4,000,000 Money Bags” scratch ticket game.
There were also four other lucky winners on Monday, with each winning $100,000 apiece.
One of the winning $100,000 lottery tickets was sold from a Sunoco station in Haverhill, and was claimed from playing a “Millions” scratch ticket.
Another lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Gloucester from the Good Harbor Liquor store, and was also claimed by playing a “Millions” scratch ticket.
The third $100,000 lottery prize was sold from Goretti Supermarkets in Millbury, and was claimed playing the “$15,000,000 Money Maker” scratch ticket game.
The final $100,000 lottery ticket was sold in Roslindale from a 7-Eleven store. It was also claimed by playing the “$15,000,000 Money Maker” scratch ticket game.
Overall, there were 825 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 sold in Massachusetts on Monday, including 13 in Springfield and 25 in Worcester.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $16.35 million, which was part of the game Megabucks Doubler. It was purchased at Cumberland Farms in Ware. There were also three $15 million prizes won in the commonwealth this year.
