Onshore Namibia-focused explorer ReconAfrica has raided a privately owned US Gulf of Mexico player to hire a new chief executive following the retirement of Scot Evans.
Listed in Canada and Germany, ReconAfrica has been trying to find commercial volumes of oil and gas in the Kavango frontier basin in northeast Namibia for years, despite the protests of anti-fossil fuel campaigners.
